Lane-Scott Electric Cooperative is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to join our organization. The
Journeyman Lineman is responsible for providing manpower, knowledge and workmanship which
are necessary to perform job duties for the proper construction, maintenance, and operation of Lane-
Scott’s electric system. Journeymen are required to use the correct use and application of all
materials and equipment in order to provide efficient, reliable service to our members.
Qualifications:
• Experience with an electric utility, qualified journeyman lineman
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license (Class A Commercial Driver’s License)
• Must have a broad knowledge of construction and maintenance of electrical distribution lines
and service to and on consumer premises.
