Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a qualified Clinic Medical Assistant, for our Clinic facility. Clinic Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
Make appointments as needed.
Assist with Office Surgeries
Blood pressure checks
Interaction with Pharmaceutical representatives
Dressing changes
Ear lavage
Keep exam rooms clean and organized.
Review and dispose of outdated medications and samples.
Maintain inventory
Put patients in rooms for physicians and do vitals and update PMH, meds, etc. at each visit in EMR.
Document communication with patients in charts.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Prepare the charts for clinic the day before clinic day
Give Injections
Fill in for other providers when their staff is out.
Float – help out other nurses/MA when your provider is out.

Requirements
Education, Qualifications, Experience:
CPR certified
Must be 18 or older
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Hours of Employment:
Expected to be at work not before 8:00 but by 8:30.
Will need to remain until their provider is finished for the day.
Lunch Break – 12:00 to 1:00 – will need to clock out.
