Description POSITION TITLE: Occupational Therapist Department: Occupational Therapy Reports to: Rehab Department Supervisor Date: 5-31-06; 4-18-16; 9-15-22 Mission of Department: Committed to provide optimum level of care and strive for excellence in providing quality occupational therapy Purpose of Position: Occupational Therapist is to develop and carry out treatment plans for inpatient,  Outpatient, and home health patients Essential Functions: Daily care of patients Charting on all patients The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned in this job classification. Requirements Additional Responsibilities: Maintains daily function of department Communicates needs and challenges of department to Therapy department head Education, Qualifications, Experience: Licensure in the State of Kansas Expectation of Service: This is a non-exempt 40 hour per week position. Regular and punctual attendance is required.   Physical Requirements: Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting/carrying 10-50 pounds with occasional lifting/carrying 51-75 pounds; frequent reaching/grasping, twisting, pulling/pushing. Frequent exposure to equipment. Continuosly writing in English and working irregular hours.
