Kat, is the wife of Rod Haxton and mother of Tony and Melissa Jasnoch and step-mom to the late Tyler and Ryan Haxton. Sales is her specialty and she can direct questions where they need to go for answers.

She has been in the newspaper business for 27 years, starting out as a contract writer for the Gordon Journal in Nebraska.

She moved to Scott City in 2003 and has been with the Scott County Record since then as their sales person.
